Triloy's latest album: A treat for the music lovers

The album Shunno from Triloy was a delightful treat to music connoisseurs around the country during the Eid holidays. With their mellow rock compositions and often dark alternative vibes running in and out, it not only gave the CD an authentic tone but provided soothing music for all types of listeners.

Triloy was one of the first four bands to get a record deal from G-series audio production house after the ABC triangle. The album comprised an overall compact music. Nothing was over done! The bass guitar work, drumming, guitars, keyboards along with the unique vocals gelled to a beautiful harmony.

Although their genre cultivated the slower side of rock, the last two heavier songs were a definite surprise.

The opening track Anmoney flowed with the trademark Triloy sound of soothing composition. Perfect song for a misty winter dawn and as one got in to the song the chorus with harmonised vocals added a flamboyant punch to the music.

Nirobey added to a happy beginning to another good sounding track. The keyboard applications and guitar works were appreciable. The lyric here reflected very contemporary issue of the early twenties, phase of the young generation where even knowing the painful fate, a young man ushered in strong emotions for someone specific. The overall composition with catchy tune made this an ostentatious track.

Shomadhi is yet another of their lyrically depressed songs but with skillful composition. Usage of good guitar processor effects, the song became one of the most creative tracks from the CD.

The songs Kobita, Abaro and Adharey were again different categories of rock. What was great about these songs is that they were overwhelming with different emotions.

The second-last track Shopnomrittu was the heavier side of Triloy. With guest vocals brought to add an extra powerful vocal effect to harmonise, was quite unique and most importantly the song was carefully composed.

However, the last song suffered from poor composition despite the fact that the band members come from a well-groomed musical background.

The lyrics used in the album mirrored a patterned use of brains. They almost touched most of the concurrent emotional upheaval that the present generation is going through.

The CD cover design must be praised for the artsy values. With heavy emotions and creative compositions, the album is sure to touch the hearts of the listeners.
