Portuguese envoy presents credentials

President Iajuddin Ahmed stressed the need for mutual exchange of experiences in the field of agriculture and other development sectors between Bangladesh and Portugal.The President said this when new Ambassador of Portugal Joaquim Jose Lemos Ferreira Marques met him at Bangabhaban to present his credentials. Welcoming Marques, Iajuddin recalled the cordial bilateral relations between the two countries and reaffirmed Bangladesh's determination to further consolidate and develop relations with Portugal. He also stressed much on cooperation in the field of trade and commerce that will benefit both the nations.
