5 journalists threatened with death

Criminals yesterday threatened five journalists with death in letters sent to them by post in Abhoynagar upazila.They are Masud Alam of the Prothom Alo, Wahiduzzaman of the Ittefaq, Faruq Hossain of the Jugantor, Rafiqul Islam of the Bhorer Kagoj and Zobaer Hossain of the Loksamaj. The criminals in the letters termed them extortionists and musclemen, saying they will keep an eye on them and send two more letters each. If the journalists change their attitude, they might not carry out the threat.
