Arms haul at Rangamati

Two light guns and a foreign revolver were seized from the possession of a union parishad (UP) member at Kadamtali in Baghaichhari upazila yesterday.Acting on a tip-off, police and paramilitary BDR launched a joint drive under the leadership of Lt.Colonel Azizur Rahman and raided a tea-stall in the area. They nabbed Marisha UP member, Nihar Bindu Chakma, 40, along with the firearms, police said.
