France-Argentina friendly Aug 17

France will play a friendly against Argentina on August 17 in Stade de France, the French football federation (FFF) confirmed on Friday. A second friendly in early June 2005 is also being considered as former world and European champions France prepare their campaign for the 2006 World Cup in Germany. France play World Cup qualifiers against Switzerland on March 26 and Israel four days later.
