BGCC senior vice-president and GOC of the 24th Infantry Division Major General Iqbal Karim Bhuiyan inaugurated the tournament, which featured 120 players from home and abroad, including nine lady golfers.

BGCC president and Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen Hasan Mashhud Chowdhury gave away prizes among the winners in the evening. Azimuddin Ahmed, chairman of tournament sponsors Mutual Food Products Linited, also addressed the function.
