Bomb attack on newsman: ASP Mofazzel brought back to Khulna jail

Additional SP Mofazzel Hussain who was allegedly involved in a bomb attack on Khulna bureau chief of the Jugantor, Dip Azad was brought to Khulna jail on Saturday. Police sources said a team of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) brought Mofazzel from Dhaka Central Jail by a prison van. He was kept in Cell No-4 of Khulna jail. Mofazzel was arrested from his office on February 17 following confessional statements of two outlaws, Hasan and Iqbal Hossain Sadhin, who were arrested by the members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) earlier. Meanwhile, Khulna Metropo-litan Police (KMP) brought Hasan to Khulna Police Station on four-day remand.
