Farid Bepari, 42, a carpenter at Katasur Namar Bazar in Mohammadpur, was fatally injured when Mohammad Yusuf, another carpenter, hit him in the head with a stick during an altercation.

Farid was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Locals caught and beat Yusuf before handing him over to police.
