Fabric producers of the country enjoy the GSP facility (Generalised System of Preferences) from the government as well as the buyer from its own government. The EPB (Export Promotion Bureau) certifies that the apparel manufacturer has used local fabric for garments manufacturing. But The EPB takes at least five days to perform the job , though it should not take more than a day. The EPB works very slow in performing the works with garment manufacturers. We urge the government to look into the matter in the greater interest of the country.
