Army arrests one, seizes 2 powerful explosives

Army personnel yesterday seized two powerful explosives from a bordering area in Rangunia upazila in Rangamati.Sources said an army patrol team arrested Nurul Alam, 48, and seized the explosives from his possession in Islampur at around 9:00am. Alam was later handed over to Rangunia police in the afternoon. Police were questioning him until yesterday evening. Police said the explosives looked like grenades but army experts identified those as powerful bombs.
