Saif steps towards non-mainstream movies

Saif Ali Khan has made his name in the domain of mainstream Hindi movies but now he wants to demonstrate his acting skills through non-commercial movies. Saif is confident that his upcoming movie Being Cyrus will affirm his versatility as an actor.Earlier titled Akoori, Being Cyrus is the directorial debut of Homi Adajania and this is Saif's first film in English. Being Cyrus is a psychological drama with unusual characterisations. The story revolves around a Parsi family, the Sethnas residing in the hills of Panchgani. A retired sculptor, Dinshaw (Naseeruddin Shah) heads the family. Other members of the joint family comprise Dinshaw's wife Katy (Dimple Kapadia), brother Farokh, sister-in-law Tina and the other brother Fardoonjee. Then arrives Cyrus (Saif Ali Khan) at the Sethna house and stays on. As the movie proceeds, it is possible to gain a psychological insight into the complex Sethna family. Not just that, even Cyrus comes across as a bizarre personality.
