Are we fundamentalists?

It is really very unfortunate that Islam is being worn as a "dress alone" by some people. They are committing crimes in the name of religion in our country. These people are exploiting poor and illiterate villagers' sentiments.

However, we need to define fundamentalism correctly. I will have to say that US President George W. Bush is a big fundamentalist because he strictly follows the religious rules, regularly visits church, avoids hard drinks etc. He is so strict and adamant that he does not give any chance, kills the innocent infidels( in his language) in Iraq, and firmly believes that "God is with him"(?). Who else can be a better religious person than Mr. Bush? I pray five times, so am I a fundamentalist? A person has beard and goes to mosque, it does not necessarily mean that he must be a member of some fanatic group.

Most of the Bangladeshis are pious and moderate Muslims.
