Women's athletics ends Dhaka, Panchagar jt champions

Dhaka and Panchagar emerged joint champions in the two-day inter-district women's athletics competition which concluded at the Dhanmondi Women Sports Complex yesterday.Both teams collected ten points each while Nilphamari followed the leaders with seven points. Dhaka's Rani Das became individual champion securing eight points while Sheuli Parveen of Panchagar and Shahnaz Parveen of Nilphamari finished as joint runners-up with seven points each. A total of 200 athletes from 43 districts took part in the competition.
