Sri Lanka's cricket tour of India for five one-day internationals has been postponed, a top Indian official said here on Sunday.Joint secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Gautam Dasgupta said the five-match series, scheduled to begin on April 22, was put off as they had not received a confirmation from their Sri Lankan counterpart. "In view of Sri Lanka Cricket's inability to confirm the itinerary and the recent developments there, we felt the matches should be postponed to a mutually convenient date," he said. Last month, Sri Lankan Sports Minister Jeevan Kumaratunga sacked the country's cricket governing body amid allegations of financial irregularities. Sri Lanka are currently touring New Zealand for a two-Test series.
