Oil tanker kills one in N'ganj

One person was killed and five others were injured when an oil tanker rammed into the canteen of the Padma Oil Depot at Godnyle under the Siddhirganj police station in Narayanganj yesterday.The police said the victim was identified as Abdur Rahim, 30, son of Abdu Miah of village Godnyle Baghpara of Siddhirganj. Of the injured, Baharul, 30, was admitted to the Khanpur Hospital while others were released after first aid. The accident took place when the victim, along with others, was taking lunch in the canteen. The agitated people caught the driver of the oil tanker and gave a beating. later he was handed over to the police.
