To protect the true and pure form of music from being pirated, Bangladesh Audio Cassette and CD Producer's Association is organising a four-day long National Audio Video Music Fair 2005, says a press release. Co-organised by Dot Events Consortium, the first of its kind fair is scheduled for June 8-11 at the Bangladesh China Friendship Conference Centre.

Audio cassettes, CDs, VCDs, DVDs, music player, sound system, musical instruments, computer music system, recording equipment, TV music programmes will be displayed at the fair. Apart from the display, various cultural programmes by the country's leading singers and band groups will feature in the fair.

Eminent music personalities will be awarded too.

There will be an Artist Corner at the fair where the audience would be able to meet their favourite singers.

The proceedings from the fair will be donated for the welfare of singers in distress.
