Despite being held by young Bangladeshi International Master Enamul Hossain Rajib, Indian Grand Master Surya Shekhar Ganguly stayed atop in the United Insurance and Leasing Grand Master's Chess Tournament at the NSC conference room yesterday.Ganguly, the highest rated player in the meet, now has a slim half-point lead after the ninth round. Alexander Fominyh was hot on the Indian's heel with seven points when the Russian GM bagged full point beating Indian IM Satyapragyan. IM Reefat Bin Sattar, who upset his compatriot GM Ziaur Rahman in this round, and Raja are in the third place securing 6.5 points each.
