Kushtia rule the roost

Kushtia as usual dominated the inter-district women's age-group swimming competition which concluded at the Dhanmondi Women's Sports Complex yesterday.Kushtia bagged nine golds out of 11 decided on the final day of the two-day meet to finish with 11 gold medals. Meherpur and Narail won two gold medals each while Pabna and Chapainawabganj got one each. Swimmers from Kushtia also won all three individual titles. Lucky Khatun won two golds and one silver to top the 8-10 years group while the other winners were Shabana (11-12 years) and Shikha Akhter (13-14 years) with three golds each.
