Increased fees for post-graduation courses withdrawn


The government has withdrawn the increased fees for post-graduation courses following the agitation by the Post-Graduation Doctors Association (PGDA).

The association leaders, in a press release yesterday, said the government on Saturday withdrew the increased fees which were ten times more than the normal fees.

PGDA President Quazi Shahidul Alam and Secretary General Rakibul Islam Litu congratulated the doctors who took part in the agitation and compelled the authorities concerned to withdraw the increased fees.

They also demanded of the authorities to give back the increased fees taken from the doctors and introduce scholarships for the post-graduate students included in M.Phil and Ph.D degree.
