BD women off on wrong foot

The Bangladesh women's football team lost their historic international match 1-0 to Guam yesterday in the AFC U-17 Women's Championship in Korea.Amy Atkinson scored the all-important goal for Guam in the 38th minute at the Nam Hae Public Stadium, according to a message received in Dhaka. Bangladesh custodian Mona spent a busy day under the bar in severe cold and saved a 14th minute penalty. Bangladesh take on Hong Kong in their next group match tomorrow.
