BNP blames opposition parties for instability


The BNP leaders at different protest rallies in the city yesterday blamed several opposition parties, including Awami League, for creating instability in the country to fetch benefits in their favour during the next general elections.

They said AL raised a controversy over the constitutionally resolved caretaker government system and election commission to capture state power by placing their people in the caretaker government.

But the people will foil their conspiracies and cast their votes in favour of BNP to again bring this party to power, they said while addressing the rallies in the city.

Tejgaon thana BNP held its rally at Bou Bazar square with its president Jalal Uddin in the chair. Dhaka city BNP General Secretary Abdus Salam, Tejgaon BNP general secretary and ward commissioner Anwaruzzaman Anwar, Gias Uddin and Khokon Hasan Manjur spoke.

Lalbagh thana BNP held its rally at Balur Hat field and brought out a procession. Abdus Salam, Nasiruddin Ahmed Pintoo MP, ward commissioner Mosharraf Hossain Khokon, Haji Altaf Hossain, Anwar Parvez Badal, Ramjan Ali Hiru and Nasir Uddin spoke.
