Cabinet for ensuring quality of construction

The cabinet at a meeting yesterday discussed ways to ensure the quality of construction of educational institutions, roads and other infrastructure in the public sector.Chaired by Prime Minister Khaleda Zia at her office, the meeting also approved a proposal to reconsider the decisions made earlier for building a cyclone shelter centre at Dublarchar. The meet expressed deep sorrow at the deaths of several garment workers in the collapse of a nine-storied building of Spectrum Garment Factory at Savar on April 10.
