Collins out of third SA Test

A slight back injury will sideline West Indies fast bowler Pedro Collins for the third Test against South Africa, starting on Thursday in his native Barbados.

Collins, who has become the spearhead of the attack over the last year, has missed out on selection previously because of the back injury.

Ironically his brother, Fidel Edwards, has taken his place in the fast bowling arsenal, after recovering from back troubles of his own that forced him out of the game since last summer's tour of England.

In the only other change to the 12-member squad announced on Sunday left-arm slow bowling all-rounder Ryan Hinds replaces batsman Donovon Pagon, who had two single-figure scores in the second Test at Port of Spain.

SQUAD

Shivnarine Chanderpaul (captain), Courtney Browne (vice captain), Dwayne Bravo, Fidel Edwards, Chris Gayle, Wavell Hinds, Ryan Hinds, Reon King, Brian Lara, Daren Powell, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Dwight Washington.
