Ivy Rahman's mother dead

Hasina Banu, mother of slain Awami League leader Ivy Rahman and grandmother in-law of Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Rehana, died of old age complications at a house at Gulshan in the city on Sunday night at the age of 90.She was buried at the Banani graveyard after namaz-e-janaza at Gulshan yesterday morning. Leader of the Opposition and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina expressed her profound shock at death of Hasina Banu. In a condolence message, she said we have lost a guardian at her death. She prayed for eternal peace of her departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the members of the bereaved family.
