Former vice chancellor of Chittagong University, Abdul Mannan will inaugurate the debate competition at Shilpakala Academy at 10:00am.

Premier University Vice-Chancellor Professor Anwarul Azim Arif will be the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony while Chittagong Club Chairman Engineer Ali Ahmed, Bangladesh Elementary School Principal Nadira Banu and Mutual Trust Bank Vice-President Khorshed Alam will attend as special guests.

Eight English medium schools of the port city will participate in the debate organised by Drishty, Chittagong, an educational and cultural organisation.

The schools are: Cider International School, Sunshine Grammar School, Bay View School, Oxbridge International School, Bangladesh Elementary School, Little Jewels, Summer Field International School and Green Vale School.
