Police said an undetected bus crushed Mohammad Ashraful, a sweeper at Gabtoli Bus Terminal, under the wheels at about 5:00am when he was crossing the road at Gabtoli in Mirpur.

In the other incident, an unidentified woman aged about 40 was rammed by an unknown vehicle at about 10:00am while crossing the New Airport Road near the Khilkhet Over Bridge in Badda.

They died on the spot. Police later took the bodies to Dhaka Medical College Morgue for autopsy.
