Storm Lashes Sunamganj
50 injured, 400 houses damaged

A severe storm swept over the town and its suburbs leaving more than 50 people injured and damaging about 400 kutcha houses.The storm at 2:15pm lasted only for 10 minutes also uprooted trees and electric poles disrupting power supply. Five seriously injured people were admitted to the Sadar hospital. The most affected areas are fish and kitchen markets of the town, Nabinagar, Dhupakhali, Shologhar, Hasannagar, Arpinnagar, Mainpur, Natunbazar, Ibrahimpur, Kalipur, Wagekhali and Mollikpur.
