"We have received message from Delhi today that the surgery on Moni was successfully accomplished by Dr Ashok Gopal,'' informed Reds coach Shafiqul Islam Manik yesterday.

Moni was advised to take complete rest for six weeks before going into the field, he added.

National forward Moni, who tore a ligament during the Federation Cup semifinal against Moha-mmedan Sporting Club on April 28, is scheduled to return home tomorrow.
