The PBCP leaders in their speeches also claimed that some dailies published from Dhaka at times make propaganda in favour of indigenous people, ignoring the interest of Bangalees in the hills. Presided over by PBCP Rangamati district unit president Sabbir Ahmed, the rally was addressed by, among others, its vice-president Safiqul Islam, general secretary Md Solaiman, organiszaing secretary Md Mahim Uddin. Later in the evening, the PBCP issued a press release which also made similar comments about the intellectuals.
