Bikalpa Dhara to nominate 200 candidates in next polls

Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB) yesterday announced that it would nominate candidates for 200 seats across the country in the next general elections.BDB took the decision at its meeting of the national executive committee yesterday. The party also decided to nominate its women leader Momtaz Begum for the by-election in the Narsingdi-1 constituency. BDB President Prof AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury chaired the meeting held at the party's Baridhara office. BDB Secretary General Major ( retd) Abdul Mannan, Vice-President Major ( retd) General MA Halim, Joint Secretary General Firoz M Hasan and the chairman of economic affairs committee, Prof Dr MA Mannan, among other central leaders, were present.
