Cut in fuel price demanded

Bangladesh Somajtantrik Dal (BSD), a left leaning political party, demanded an immediate cut in the increased fuel price. They urged the countrymen to be united in protest of the increased price of fuel. The BSD leaders made the demand at a rally at Muktangon in the city yesterday. Earlier, they brought out a protest procession that paraded through the city streets. Addressing the rally, BSD leaders said the fuel price has been increased three times during the regime of this government.
