Groom skilled citizens thru' quality edn: President

The delegations of Chittagong University Teachers' Association (Cuta) and Bangladesh Student Welfare Trust (BSWT) separately called on President Iajuddin Ahmed at Bangabhaban yesterday.Newly elected Cuta President Prof Dr Ahmed Fazle Hasan Chowdhury and BSWT delegation chief Prof Dr KM Mohsin apprised the President of their organisational activities. During the meetings, President Iajuddin said there is no alternative to qualitative education in facing the challenges of the 21st century. He urged all concerned to contribute to grooming skilled citizens through quality education. The Cuta delegation included Prof M Ali Chowdhury, Prof AJM Nooruddin Chowdhury, Prof M Shamsuddin, Prof Abul Kalam Azad and Prof Mozaffor Ahmed Chowdhury.
