Euro drops to 13-month low against dollar

The euro fell to a fresh 13-month low point against the dollar on Tuesday in early European trading, before recovering slightly, while the US unit firmed against the yen. The euro rose to 1.1917 dollars in early European trading, from 1.1899 late on Monday in New York.
