The win against the Australians must have stunned the whole cricket world. But there are some analysts and experts in the elite cricket playing nations who cannot still accept the truth that Bangladesh has some future in the game. We are not claiming that the win against Australia has elevated us to an enviable position. But what we can expect from others is a word of encouragement. We defeated the world champions, and how else could we prove that we love the game and are very eager to play it at the top level. We are still learning and would not mind being called the minnows of the cricket world. But the way the English commentators condemned us was extremely impolite, to say the least. They should improve their language.
