Russia's Anastasia Myskina battled from a set down to put the reigning Fed Cup champions Russia 1-0 up in the semifinal tie against the United States with a 5-7, 6-4, 6-2 win over Wimbledon champion Venus Williams here on Saturday. "I felt slightly nervous in the opening set as I was playing against the Wimbledon champion in the first rubber of the tie," Myskina said after the match. "But I knew it was emotionally tough for her to play at her full capability throughout the match, after Wimbledon. I was ready for it and knew where and when she lost her concentration." The opponents came into the match looking slightly rusty and trading breaks right from the start but Myskina, 24, played slightly more accurately clinching a 3-1 advantage.
