Bangladeshi dies in Canada road accident

Engineer Promod Deb Nath, a Bangladeshi expatriate in the United States, was killed and his wife and two children were injured in a road accident at Kingston in Canada on July 10, says a press release. The accident occurred when a speedy lory from the opposite direction hit their car as they were on the way to their house in New York. He died on the spot while his wife Shewly Deb Nath, 35, and two children Shama, 9, and Pratik, (one and a half years old) were seriously injured. They were admitted to Kingston Hospital in a critical condition. Promod went America under 1990 OP-ONE programme. He is the son of late Prohlad Dev Nath. His mother Renu Bala Devi and two brothers live in Kishorgonj district.
