DBBL donation for Hridoy's treatment
Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) yesterday donated TK 5 five lakh to Mohammad Atiqur Rahman Hridoy, a meritorious student of Computer Science and Engineering Department of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) who has been suffering from acute leukaemia (blood cancer), says a press release.

Mohammad Yeasin Ali, managing director of the bank, handed over a payment order of Tk 5 lakh to Buet Vice Chancellor Prof Mohammad Alee Murtaza for Hridoy's treatment at National University Hospital in Singapore.

The DBBL always reaches to the destitute and helpless by way of carrying out a wide range of philanthropic activities.

Electrical and Electronics Faculty Dean Prof M A Chowdhury and medical consultant of the DBBL Mozammel Hossain Khan were present on the occasion.
