School chess begins

The Standard Chartered School chess tournament began yesterday in the city with 207 students from 61 local schools and India taking part in the competition.In the first round held at NSC conference room and the BCF hall room, 48 players won their respective matches in Group B (Class VI-X), 24 won in Group A (KG to Class V) and 15 in group C (girls).
