Ekhono Akash Nil premiered

Shagor is a fun loving boy. He is keener on addas (chatting) and hanging out with his friends than concentrating on his studies. Shagor hits it off with Binu who is poles apart. She is studious and very responsible.

In a parallel theme, Cynthia is the reading partner of Farabi. They jointly solve many complex mathematical problems. In the process, they develop an attraction for each other.

These are vignettes from the telefilm Ekhono Akash Nil. The premier show of the film, produced by A-1 Tele Media, was held at Bashundhara Star Cineplex recently. Dr Moin Khan, minister of Information, Science and Technology was chief guest on the occasion. He appreciated the effort by the students of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).

"The telefilm reflects the lives of the students of BUET. It will create a positive image of the students of the country at home and abroad," said performer KM Khurshid.

All of the performers in the telefilm are students of BUET. Popular actress Aupi Karim, who graduated from Buet and renowned actor Dr Enamul Huq, professor of BUET, did cameos in the telefilm. "We are very ambitious about our first beta cam version production, Ekhono Akash nil. Soon it will be telecast on Channel i," said Mohammad Jahangir Alam Sumon, art director of the play.

The telefilm has been sponsored by Aktel.
