Sirajul Islam receives Lions Int'l award

Lion M Sirajul Islam, a former member of parliament, has been awarded the 'Ambassador of Goodwill' of Lions Inter-national at a ceremony held at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in the city recently.He was awarded in recognition of his services towards the less fortunate people, says a press release. Dr Ashok Mehta, president of International Lions Clubs, attended the ceremony as chief guest while Lion Sk. Kabir Hossain, Lions international director, and Lion Moslem Ali Khan, past international director, were present at the ceremony.
