Summer badminton

Enayet became men's singles champion in the Summer Open badminton tournament which concluded at the Woodenfloor Gymnasium yesterday. Enayet beat Parash 2-1 in the final while the men's doubles tittle went to Sumon and Parash who blanked defeated Moktar and Sarwar 2-0. Konika emerged women's singles champion outplaying Dulali 2-0. Konika also clinched the women's doubles, beating the Noori-Ruma duo 2-0 pairing with Dulali. Youth and Sports secretary Syed Sujauddin Ahmed distributed prizes among the winners. President of the Bangladesh Badminton Federation Kutubuddin Ahmed was present as the special guest.
