DBBL donation for treatment of disabled children
Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) donated Tk 3 lakh to "Saleh Child Development and Disability Management Centre" of the Institute of Child and Mother Health (ICMH) for providing free medical treatment to the underprivileged and destitute disabled children, says a press release.The DBBL Managing Director Md Yeasin Ali handed over a cheque for Tk 3 lakh to ICMH Executive Director Prof Dr Abdul Hannan at a simple ceremony at the Institute auditorium on August 18. Dr Hannan appreciated the DBBL initiative and said that other corporate bodies would discharge their corporate social responsibility like it. Yeasin Ali gave a brief resume of the initiatives taken by the bank in making every effort to carry out its corporate social responsibility by way of providing diverse philanthropic activities to the distressed humanity of the country. Prof Soofia Khatoon, Dr M Quamrul Hasan, Mohammed Mominul Haque and Dr Mozammel Hossain Khan also spoke.
