The court gave the order as Lucky, the complainant of journalist Shamsur Rahman murder case, failed to appear before the Khulna Speedy Trial Tribunal for her statement in the trial.

Lucky filed a petition to the judge yesterday requesting him to transfer the case back to a Jessore court for security reasons.

The judge had asked her earlier this month to secure an order from higher court in this regard and submit it on August 21. Lucky failed to comply.

The trial of the case began yesterday registering the statement of prosecution witness Alamgir Hossain.

Twelve out of 14 accused were present in court. Among them ten are on bail while Pagla Selim and Zahir Badsha are in jail.

August 31 has been set for the next trial date.
