DB starts fresh drive in Dhaka today to nab criminals

The Detective Branch (DB) of police launches today a new drive, Civil Operation, to nab criminals in the capital.Sixty special forces will conduct their ward-level drives in the areas under the Dhaka City Corporation. Officials of the forces will be held responsible for failure to curb crime in their jurisdiction, while success will bring them rewards, said DB sources. The police department expects the new drive, under which the officials will be accountable for their work, will help improve law and order.
