7-day agitation programme begins

The teachers, students and employees of Chittagong University Mass Communication and Journalism Department began a seven-day agitation programme yesterday demanding immediate renovation of the dilapidated arts faculty building.The department's academic committee announced the programmes at a meeting on Wednesday. On the first day of the programme yesterday, the teachers, students and staffs wore black badges. They will submit memorandums to the faculty dean and Vice Chancellor on August 30 and September 4 in this regard.
