Chinese engr succumbs to his injuries at RMCH


A Chinese engineer succumbed to his injuries at Rangpur Medical College and Hospital (RMCH) yesterday.

He was injured critically after falling down from the roof of a three-storied building of Boropukuria under-construction power plant in the morning.

Eyewitnesses said Zhang Ziang Ghee, 35, fell from the roof at 8:30am.

He was rushed to RMCH in a critical condition and died immediately after the admission.

A doctor on emergency duty told this correspondent that Zhang received fatal injuries in the head and chest.

Rangpur Kotwali Police said the body of the Chinese engineer was sent to Dhaka in the afternoon.
