Real estate fair begins Thursday in Ctg

A three-day real estate fair begins at the Engineers Institute auditorium here on Thursday. Fisheries and Livestock Minister Abdullah Al Noman is expected to inaugurate the show at 10am. Scintilla Ltd, an event management firm of Chittagong, is organising the show titled "Chittagong Real Estate Fair-2005". The theme of this fair is "Planned city and safe habitation'. Equity Property Management Ltd, Sanmar Properties Ltd and Ideal Home Builders Ltd are the co-sponsors while Channel-I is the media partner of the fair. The organisers at a press conference yesterday said the fair aims at fulfilling the needs of city dwellers for a home of their dream. Mohammed Shahjahan, managing director of Scintilla, spoke at the press conference at Chittagong Press Club. He said around 40 firms with 47 stalls, representing different real estate companies, will participate in the fair. The real estate companies will come up with 200 projects offering about 2,000 flats to the customers, he hoped. The fair will remain open to all from 10am to 8pm and attractive prizes and gifts are on offer for the visitors, the organisers said.
