After a hiatus of two years, actor turned director Zahiruddin Piar has directed a single episode drama titled Tithir Atithi. Ali Fida Ikram Tojo's play depicts the frustration of the younger generation. Director Piar said, " I was inspired by Tojo's script. Like thousands of jobless graduates of the country, Hasan, the protagonist of the play, is in love with a girl named Tithi. Tithi, who works for a private organisation, also reciprocates his feelings. However, neither of them can reveal their feelings as Hasan has no social status. At the end of the play Tithi marries another man, while Hasan becomes an ordinary wage earner." "I have given emphasis to cinematography. The camera work is unique," says Piar. Tithir Atithi will be aired on ntv shortly. Srabonti and Intekhab Dinar play the two central characters.
