After losing his place to Kamran Akmal in the Pakistan team in October last year, there had been speculation in Pakistan that Moin, now 34, would retire at the end of this domestic season.

But he dismissed all talk of retirement, insisting, as always, that he would continue fighting for a place in the national squad.

Speaking to the Karachi-based daily, the News, Moin said, "As long as I am enjoying the game and as long as I feel that I can still contribute to the senior team and make a comeback I will continue to play on. I have no intentions of retiring after this season."
