Mohammad Mohsin, manager of Sheba Fashion, drew the money from National Bank at Elephant Road and was going to Nilkhet to hand it over to Babor, nephew of his employer Mohammad Salahuddin.

As Mohsin reached near Balaka cinema hall, one Shakil alias Bad Boy Shakil, snatched the bag and boarded on an microbus.

Hearing Mohsin's cry, locals and a patrolling DB team caught Shakil and the driver of the microbus Mohammad Rafiq.

The money was also recovered.

Shakil told police that Babor planned the mugging.
